  • You will start your beginner lesson with some dry land instruction to explain the process followed by heading out with your instructor on the water. There you will begin on a bar called a 'boom' which hangs out the side of the boat, keeping you close to the instructor as they talk you through each step, and gives you more control to build your comfort on top of the water. Eventually you will move to a handle hanging off the boom, followed by moving to the back of the boat where we will have you up and having fun

  • We always welcome anyone who you feel comfortable with watching you ride! Our boats can accommodate 2 extra riders in the boat. For children's lessons we sometimes notice that they learn better without parents or siblings in the boat with them. We will always customize this to your child's needs and are happy to set them up for the greatest success on the water.

  • Whether you are looking to break bad habits or build new skills, your lesson starts with a brief chat with your instructor about your ski history and what you are looking to improve on. Once you are in the water we will take you for a complete pass down the lake where you will rest in the water at each end while your instructor instructs you on what to focus on next to improve your performance. This process will repeat 6-8 times, ensuring that you get the absolute most out of your time on the water.

  • Consider our lessons like a high-intensity class at the gym. Yes, you could go to the gym for an hour or more, but if you ramp up the intensity that time starts to feel like an eternity. After over 40 years of teaching we have mastered the art of pushing of utilizing that time on the water effectively to maximize progression before burnout.
